There are a variety of practical issues you may find yourself having to deal with as a carer.
Day-to-day activities, such as personal care, are important parts of caring for someone with cancer – and may be things you have not had to tackle before.
Personal care and bed bathing
If you provide personal care for your loved one, it can be a positive and experience if you follow the guidelines. Your loved one may be able to wash themselves/parts of themselves so ask if they want to do this, and discuss with them what the procedure will be before you begin.
